1. Data We Access (Data Accessed)

ByteNodes accesses specific Google user data only when you explicitly grant permission via Google OAuth. This includes: Basic profile information (Name, Email address, and Profile picture). Any specific scopes requested during the sign-in process.

2. How We Use Your Data (Data Usage)

We use the accessed Google user data for the following purposes: Account Creation & Authentication: To identify you and allow secure access to your ByteNodes dashboard. Communication: To send important service updates or billing notifications to your registered email. We do not use Google user data for any other purposes beyond providing and improving our hosting services.

3. Data Sharing (Data Sharing)

ByteNodes does not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data to third parties. Data is only shared when: Necessary to provide our core services (e.g., automated billing systems). Required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Google API Limited Use

ByteNodes' use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes, do not sell Google user data to data brokers, and do not use Google user data to build, train, or improve generalized AI/ML models. We also do not use Google user data for profiling or any purpose unrelated to providing and improving core ByteNodes services requested by the user.

5. Data Storage and Protection (Data Storage & Protection)

Your data is stored securely on our encrypted servers. We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption and restricted access protocols, to protect your Google user data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

6. Data Retention and Deletion (Data Retention & Deletion)

Retention: We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated Google data at any time by opening a support ticket or emailing us at bytenodeshost@gmail.com. Upon request, we will permanently delete your data from our active databases within 30 days.
