ByteNodes is committed to customer satisfaction and stands behind the quality of our hosting services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which customers may request refunds for services purchased from ByteNodes. We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel your services, and we aim to handle all refund requests fairly and transparently. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and the conditions that apply to refund requests. By purchasing our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

ByteNodes offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new hosting service purchases. If you are not completely satisfied with your hosting service within the first 30 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund of your service fees. This guarantee applies only to new customers and their first purchase of a hosting service. The 30-day period begins from the date of service activation, not the date of payment. To qualify for this guarantee, you must submit a refund request before the end of the 30-day period. Refund requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for the money-back guarantee.

3. Eligible and Ineligible Services

The following services are eligible for refunds under our 30-day money-back guarantee: VPS KVM hosting plans, Game Server hosting packages, RDP Windows services, Discord Bot hosting, and Website hosting services. The following services and fees are NOT eligible for refunds: domain name registrations and renewals, as these are non-refundable once processed; setup fees and administrative fees; add-on services such as custom domain configurations, SSL certificates, and additional IP addresses; services that have been suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy; services purchased at promotional or discounted rates may have different refund terms.

4. Conditions for Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met: the refund request must be submitted within 30 days of service activation for new customers; you must provide a valid reason for the refund request; your account must be in good standing with no outstanding balances or disputes; you must not have violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy; you must have made reasonable efforts to resolve any technical issues with our support team before requesting a refund; any promotional credits, bonuses, or discounts applied to your purchase may be deducted from the refund amount.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps: Submit a support ticket through our client portal or contact us via email at support@bytenodes.id. Include your account information, the service for which you are requesting a refund, and a detailed explanation of your reason for the refund request. Our support team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days. If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 7-14 business days, depending on your payment provider.

6. Partial Refunds and Pro-rata Credits

In certain circumstances, ByteNodes may offer partial refunds or pro-rata credits instead of full refunds. Partial refunds may be issued when: you have used a significant portion of a prepaid service period; certain components of your service are non-refundable; promotional discounts were applied that would not apply to the refund amount; there are outstanding balances or fees owed on your account. Pro-rata credits may be applied to your account for future services when services are terminated early due to circumstances beyond your control.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact our support team before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their payment provider. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the issue through our support channels may result in: immediate suspension or termination of all services associated with your account; forfeiture of any refund eligibility; additional fees to cover chargeback processing costs; permanent ban from using ByteNodes services.

8. Service Cancellation and Data Retention

When you request a refund and cancel your services, please be aware of the following: all data stored on your hosting account will be permanently deleted within 24-48 hours of service termination; it is your responsibility to backup any data you wish to keep before requesting a refund; once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered; any domain names registered through ByteNodes are not included in refunds and will remain registered unless you request a separate domain cancellation.

9. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

ByteNodes may make exceptions to this Refund Policy in special circumstances, including but not limited to: documented medical emergencies or hardships; significant service outages or issues caused by ByteNodes that are not covered under our SLA; billing errors or duplicate charges made by ByteNodes; other exceptional circumstances as determined by our management team. Requests for exceptions must be made in writing and include documentation supporting the request.

10. Changes to This Refund Policy

ByteNodes reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We may provide notice of material changes through email or prominent website announcements, but we are not obligated to do so. Your continued use of our services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
